Sept 22, 2007

There were 10 FRunners, Carla, Sylvia, Jason L, Jason B, John, Stephen, Kami, Kellie, Michelle, and Suzy. We ran in Fruita around the Gofers stores and then up and around the Fruita Loop. The run was 12 miles and water/gatoprade was provided. Nobody seemed to feel to well and Kami "Short-Cut Sally" started leaving the group, to deal with some issues.

Other FRunners are doing their training runs, Brad, Jill, Heidi, Janice and Jeena. I have not heard from the others....

The Photos did not come out.

Sept 8, 2007

A group of Frunners met at Mary's Loop and decided to go back to Fruita and run. It was dark and there were only 4 people. Kami, Michelle, Jason L and John. They went back to Fruita to run. Jason L and John ran only a few miles and saw Jason B and Kellie who were putting in their 20. It was a relatively uneventful run. Not even a picture.

Jill Harmon was ready to go but Carla stayed in bed and John forgot to pick her up.... She wins Frunner of the week for her forgiveness.

Sept 1, 2007-Stephen Loops

Stephen organized a nice run. Two nice loops with plenty of Water and Gatorade. Some ran about 11 miles and others 21 miles. John, Carla, Jason L, Kami, Suzy, Michelle and Stephen ran. Other Frunners ran their own courses, rode their bikes, or stayed in bed (Betsy [has legitimate excuse], Doug [likes to sleep])

The run started at Stephens house, except for Michelle who ran over and Suzy who did walk over, a few extra blocks. The course went north on 17 road then across to 16 road, which had a nice hill than back to Stephens house. This was around 11 miles. John and Carla had enough and left. The rest of them ran Megan's loop backwards for another 10 miles.

There were a few dogs on the course that came out to bark at us. A few potty breaks (in the bushes) stretch IT band breaks and talking breaks. It was a nice casual run. The mosquito were out and biting, not as bad as the one run a month or so back. The views were great and hardly any traffic.

Half way picture.
