Michelle, Carla, John and Stephen

Many FRunners are running, but with vacations... and schools started we have not been running together. John, Carla, Michelle and Stephen got together and ran about 12 miles. Michelle, "a little bit more" (as Stephen calls her) or "Just right" as Michelle calls herself ran extra at the end to ensure she had exactley 12 miles. As a note, Kenny has a knee problem and will be out for a while.

We started at Riggs Hill down by the East Monument Entrance to the river trail and back up the parkway hill... "Just right" had to run a few more tenths... Stephen picked her up on the road.

A picture from another run in August... I am sure it was fun...

August 2, 2008

Michelle, Jill, Carla, Jeena, Andrea, Brenda, Kristin, Laura, Tarra and Diane and John

Most of the group ran the river trail with some running a bit more than they thought... and some getting lost running an extra hill. It was all good fun. There were men lacking from the run. Kenny, Stephen, Doug, Brad, Frank, Greg, Brian, Don, Andrew, Tyler, Duane... anyone..., only John showed up.

It was nice to see Brenda, who is a FRunner, but is in some form of denial. We had two new Frunners, Tara and Diane. (The web master can not spell names or other things) They are of course now part of the group, and expected every Saturday. We need to get new shirts for the group.. Betsy.....

The run started for some, at the Kohls house. Michelle and Andrea started there and ran to the river trail, Carla said 4 miles. Seems it was more like 6+. Carla, Brenda, John, Kristin, Jill and Jeena met Michelle and Andrea at the river trail. We ran together to Albertsons and had a drink. Laura, Tarra and Diane met us there. We were a little late as we had to wait a few extra minutes of the Andrea and Michelle to run there extra 2 miles... Carla said she was sorry.

Kristin and Andrea went ahead of the group and ran up the first hill instead of the second. They realized thier mistake and ran back down, adding a mile or so to their run. It was enough for the rest of us to get ahead of them... Jill felt a bit ill but ran well. The new people did just great.
