Today's Group
Michelle, Carla, Jill, Tara, Kirk and John

The Cabin and Devils Thumb

A view on the trail.

A view down the trail.

The run was Devils Thumb. Kirk set a distance record for him today. We meet at the parking lot, it appears that there is another parking lot going in... In any case, Jill, Michelle, Tarra, Kirk, Carla and John. The first three miles are uphill, until you get to the Cabin, then it is a nice run back.

Tarra fell once but recovered, There were a few other close calls as the trail was a bit muddy in spots. On the way down John found a nice flashlight and was showing it off. Tara, it seems lost one just like it on the run up the trail.... go figure. The Bairs has a case of bedities.

The girls could not keep there hands off of Kirks underware. His "Skins" were soft, the ladies said.

Photographer is having some issues... where has Doug been. Hit the arrow to see the video.

Drinking and Running

In all, John, Suzy, Celeste, Jeena, Jill, Diane, Cory, Carla, Betsy, Michelle and Nicholas ran.

The run today was pick your distance. It was the Kohls-River-Albertsons-Wingate loop, Now know as the KRAWL. John and Carla starte and ran to the bank where we met up with Cary, Diane, Jeena and Jill. We ran the river trail to Albertsons and met Betsy and Celeste. The we picked up Nicholas as Monument and South Camp.

It was Cory and Celeste's first run with the FRunners. It was good to have Suzy with us again, back from haveing a baby. It was nice Cory was there as John had someone to chat about other than hearing about girl stuff, vampires and their mortal lovers.

On the run-16 runners-Michelle, Diane, Darrin, Lara, Carla, Brad, Tarra, Jill, Angie, Betsy, Kristi, Kelly, Amber, Heidi, Stephen and John.

The scenary was great as usual.

It has been a bit since we did a Saturday Run together, as there has been a few races the last couple of weeks. We had a good turnout and all had a nice run.

The run today was out at Marys Loop. The Bairs put a car at one end of Mary's, so those who were running all of Mary's would not need to run on the road. They were a bit late as their baby sitter was wondering the streets of Fruita... Its a big town. We all met at the parking lot next to Rustlers. The run consisted of running up to Mary's then down around Horse Thief. Most, except Betsy, Stephen, Jill, Tara and Michelle ran back to the cars. Michelle started but turned back, she had to go somewhere. Darrin, also had to be somewhere at 8:00 but still was at Horse Thief.... I suppose Darcy will forgive him....

Kelly, Amber, Diane and Lara set personnel distance records as they pasted 7 miles and since runnning trail is harder that street running, it was like, at least, a half marathon. Congratulations
The new FRunnners included Darrin, always nice to have guys show up-Darcey's husband, Amber & Kelly, who both just started running, who ran well.

And one tidbit. Don Ross can do the splits... next time he shows up, he'll do it for the ladies.

Jill, Michelle, Carla, Betsy, Kendra Jeena and John ran. Stephen ran later as, being the good father, stayed with the baby (Also did not have to get up a 5:00am), to let Betsy run with us.

Always Beautiful..

There were plenty of water stops, including the Albertsons, now Valeros.... Jill is the Greatest (no one else would get on electrical box).

Kendra is training for the Half in ST. George in a couple of weeks. I am not sure who is running the Rim Rock could be five or six people.... Michelle is going to see Kellie that week, otherwise...

Today a nice group ran from 5 to 18 miles. The loop started at the Kohls and went around the river trail up past wingate and back to the Kohls. FRunners joined in at various points based on the miles they needed.
The Barneys posted a comment on the last post
"Hello to the Frunners! Are you trying to make us homesick for a morning run in the Monument? Well you have officially been successful. We would love to be there running with you. Good Luck to all those who are running Rim Rock."
